Okay I lied, it's pretty much a tutorial.
edit: it's kind of monochromatic but not with the red, so, I lied there too. And I meant "with space in mind", not "negative space", gah. *throws in art terms incorrectly around*

A few other tips:
Draw in a large enough canvas so that you can resize the picture to 25-50% and have that as the picture you upload online. I usually go for US paper standard cause that's always big enough for printing later.

Always try to draw a sketch beforehand - that way you can adjust the movements and the design before putting in details.

Use hotkeys - b for brush, e for erase
